I had read that it was a bit more relaxed there during the week though.Īll in all plenty to do and while it’s not San Fran or Sydney there seemed to be a reasonable gay scene. Very much a nightclub feel and a younger crowd. We were there lateish on a Friday night- very full and loud. We did check out another club in town- Baccus I think it was called. There seemed to be entertainment of some type on most evenings- drag shows, music acts etc. Nice bartenders and the drinks were on point. Pretty relaxed gay bar with what seemed to be mix of locals and tourists. In terms of gay scene- we were staying upstairs from Hulas. We went on a guided tour bus which was really good. Highly recommend getting out of the city and checking out some of the hikes or the north shore of Oahu. Plenty to do in Waikiki- beach, restaurants bars etc. Waikikissa pitkään toiminut homobaari ja yökerho, jossa on elävää viihdettä, drag-esityksiä ja tanssijoita. We spent 2 nights on Kauai and a week in Waikiki. Partner and I just got back from there two days ago.
